I think fans of the last one will like it a lot, and I also think that it will have more general appeal for all the pussies that didn't like shinobi. I haven't spent too much time with it, probably don't even know half of the new stuff, but it's pretty impressive. The flashiness of the first level has the same kind of feel that shinobi III had when I first played it. I think they went back and played the old shinobi games before they made this, because it has a more authentic feel than the last one. I can't really describe them any better than saying they are a lot more "interesting" then the ones from shinobi. The environments look really clean, seem bigger, and are a good improvement over the last one. ![]() Level design is better in the sense they seem more concious of levels being repetitive and mundane. They realized this allowed the player to keep track of the character much better, so it was left like that. The thugs in Nightshade are pushovers compared to Shinobis. Kunoichi's (is that her name?) character model is really detailed, and I hope they put a new an improved hotsuma to unlock (or joe mushashi). Shinobi is a 3D action-adventure video game developed by Overworks and published by Sega as part of the Shinobi series. Shinobi for the PS2 has the hero wearing an extremely long red scarf. BUt really whats the deal with videogames and ninjas or Shinobis The only good ninja in gaming was that Guy from Mark of The Ninja, everything else is just Super powered Warriors. It was time to elevate the franchise to new heights. The graphics are much cleaner, detailed, and colorful. I also think they improved the camera quite a bit as well, and it seems to find a good angle most of the time. The control is faster and more responsive, which makes the action quicker and more fluid. They basically improved everything I can think of. Hotsuma even sports the logo on his sowrd holder. The Coins are the logo or piece for Hotsumas Orobo clan. The learning curve is tough at the beginning but hey, this FAQ is for the coins we get to find scattered in the game.
